Just a jumping off point for some discussion. 7A has 18 teams that have wrestlers entered into track wrestling. 2 teams are listed, but don' t have any wreslters (Gadsden City & Jeff Davis), and one team that is listed in the winter sports book, is not listed in track (Lee-Montgomery).
Team | Total | 7th | 8th | 9th | 10th | 11th | 12th | Auburn | 22 |
|
| 7 | 2 | 6 | 5 | Bob Jones | 86 | 14 | 16 | 14 | 11 | 26 | 5 | Buckhorn | 33 | 5 | 6 | 4 | 7 | 2 | 9 | Central-Phenix City | 56 |
| 3 | 13 | 10 | 13 | 17 | Grissom | 29 | 3 | 4 | 6 | 7 | 4 | 5 | Hewitt-Trussville | 31 |
| 2 | 9 | 9 | 3 | 8 | Hoover | 29 |
|
| 9 | 10 | 8 | 2 | Huntsville | 34 |
| 5 | 5 | 9 | 7 | 8 | James Clemens | 28 |
| 3 | 8 | 3 | 7 | 4 | Mtn Brook | 33 |
|
| 17 | 11 | 3 | 2 | Oak Mountain | 34 |
|
| 9 | 10 | 10 | 5 | Prattville | 43 |
|
| 16 | 10 | 11 | 6 | Smith Station | 71 | 1 | 1 | 12 | 10 | 20 | 27 | Spain Park | 20 |
|
| 8 | 2 | 6 | 4 | Sparkman | 76 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 29 | 27 | 8 | Thompson | 35 |
| 1 | 6 | 9 | 13 | 6 | Tuscaloosa County | 33 |
| 1 | 8 | 6 | 13 | 5 | Vestavia Hills | 51 |
| 1 | 15 | 14 | 13 | 8 | | 744 | 26 | 47 | 171 | 169 | 192 | 134 |
I know of at least one team that has a duplicate wrestler and some teams have a few wrestlers without grade information. I did not correct for these errors.

Numbers are skewed as they've loaded all of last years into our list. I just spent the better part of an hour taking the old ones off. We have a little over 50 and some aren't going to hydration.

Thanks for that info. I will query again in about a week and filter out the ones that are not qualified.

I am not looking forward to a 8 man bracket this year. Although every match has the potential to be challenging, it just seems too small.

There should only be two divisions, at the most, in Alabama. 1A-5A and 6A-7A.
